It is with great gratitude to our Heavenly Father that we, the Maronite Monks of Jesus, Mary and Joseph, announce the dedication and consecration of the Monastery of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus by the hands of His Excellency, Bishop Elias A. Zaidan, M.L.M., on Saturday, the first of October, at eleven o’clock in the morning.
Then, God willing, the following day, Sunday, the second day of October, at two o’clock in the afternoon, His Excellency Bishop Elias Zaidan will celebrate the ordination of Deacons Daniel Thomas and Raphael Jude Thaddeus to the holy priesthood of Jesus Christ at the newly consecrated Altar of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus!
We ask you to share with us in the joy of this time by offering up a hymn of praise to God for the glorious workings of His love, which are beyond our comprehension. Please join us also in thanking our Blessed Mother, the ever-Virgin Mary and St. Joseph, the Righteous One, our Virginal Father, for building this monastery from the inside out, and for forming Jesus Christ within us, heart by heart.
Finally, we are grateful to all of you for your continued prayers and offerings, which satisfy the temporal needs of our bodies and strengthen our souls in faithfulness to Jesus Christ, our Divine Spouse.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Monks will not be having First Saturday Holy Mysteries (Mass) at the Sacred Heart Monastery for the month of February 2020. They look forward to being present for the March 7th 2020 First Saturday Holy Mysteries and confessions.
We would like to congratulate Monk Daniel and Monk Raphael as they took their final solemn vows as Monks of Jesus, Mary and Joseph this past Friday. What a huge milestone this if for them in their contemplative lives that have been given completely over to Our Lord and Savior! Keep them in your prayers.
The monks need your financial support and prayers as the building project costs continue to unfold.
The Monks wish everyone peace, good health and joy on this third Sunday of Epiphany where the mystery and grace of Christ's Baptism continues to bless and illuminate us during this Holy Season.

No First Saturday Holy Mysteries for the Month of January 2020
The Monks will not be having First Saturday Holy Mysteries (Mass) at the Sacred Heart Monastery for the month of January 2020. They look forward to being present for the February 1st 2020 First Saturday Holy Mysteries and confessions next month.
The Monastery building project continues to progress well. The exterior of the structure is complete and the interior construction is steadily moving forward.
The monks still need your financial support and prayers as the project costs continue to unfold.
The Monks want to wish everyone a blessed and happy new year to all friends, families and benefactors.

The Monks will not be having First Saturday Holy Mysteries (Mass) at the Sacred Heart Monastery for the month of November as they will be out of town. They look forward to having the December 7th First Saturday Holy Mysteries and confessions.
The Monastery building project continues to progress steadily as the exterior of the structure was completed last week with the painting of the siding and trim.
The monks still need your financial support and prayers as the project focus switches to the interior of the buildings.

The monks are happy to announce they will be having first Saturday holy mysteries at the Sacred Heart Monastery in Castle Rock for the month of April. The monks will be hearing confessions after the holy mysteries with three priests available. Please come to partake in the Eucharist and the sacrament of reconciliation, in the midst of the beautiful serenity of the Sacred Heart Monastery.
The monks are also excited to announce that the walls of the monastery building are finally up and the building project is progressing well. The next big stages will be the windows,siding and roof. Keep the monks in your prayers as they do not, as of yet, have the funds to move past these last three stages, but they continue to move forward in complete trust of our Lord. Please get the word out to all the faithful Catholics that you know, to support the monastery financially

No First Saturday Holy Mysteries for the Month of March
The Monks will not be having First Friday or Saturday Holy Mysteries (Mass) at the Sacred Heart Monastery for the month of March. They are currently back in Chicago at Mundelein Seminary, finishing up on their doctrinal thesis. They are hopeful to be able to return to the land for First Saturday in April to offer the Holy Mysteries and confessions.
The Monastery building project continues to progress quite well, as the trusses for the roof line are in the process of being erected.

The monks will be hearing confessions after the holy mysteries with three priests available. Please come to partake in the Eucharist and the sacrament of reconciliation, in the midst of the beautiful serenity of the Sacred Heart Monastery.
The monks are also excited to announce that the walls of the monastery building are finally being raised. This is a monumental stage of their building project and they have asked for your continued prayers and donations to move forward to complete the construction.

No January First Friday and First Saturday Holy Mysteries at the Sacred Heart Monastery
There will be no First Friday or First Saturday Holy Mysteries at the Sacred Hear Monastery for the month of January. The monks hope to return to celebrate the Holy Mysteries at the monastery the First Friday and Saturday of February, with the help of God. Watch for an email reminder or check the monks website for more details as February draws closer.
Keep the monastery in your prayers as the building projects moves forward in the middle of January with the framing of the monastery walls.

As the Maronite Church has entered the season of Announcement, we are pleased to announce the monks will celebrate The Holy Mysteries (Mass) on Saturday December 1st at the Sacred Heart Monastery in Castle Rock, WA. There will be no First Friday mass this month, only First Saturday. This is due to the rigorous assignment deadlines of our two priest monks, who are tying to finish their doctoral thesis papers. The Monks will be hearing confessions after the Holy Mysteries with three priests available. First Saturday Barbecue celebration this weekend. Events to be held on both Friday and Saturday
Just a reminder,The Maronite Monks of Jesus, Mary and Joseph invite you to celebrate with them the beginning of their monastery building project. The Maronite bishop, the most Reverend Bishop Abdallah Elias Zaidan, has visited the monastery grounds and has given his blessing to move forward with the construction of the monastery. Thus, in early June the monks began this monumental undertaking.
Come join them in celebration and thanksgiving for a first Saturday mass and barbecue on the monastery land in Castle Rock, Washington. The monks will also be offering mass, confessions and hospitality on first Friday. See specific schedule below:

We are also pleased to announce that Monk Daniel Thomas and Monk Jude Raphael Thaddeus, took their Simple vows as monks on November 15th. They are now on a 3 year path to their final Solemn vows as Monks of Jesus, Mary and Joseph. Please congratulate them when you see them and keep them in your prayers.
